One of my friends is doing a promo for a yoga mat company, so she asked for some yoga cookies as a give-away prize. At first I wasn't sure how to go about the task... then, a google image search for "yoga figures" came to my rescue. I will be forever surprised at just how many different people have provided yoga stick figure drawings for the general public's viewing. And thank goodness for that.
I chose a tulip cookie cutter because it is an interesting shape and it resembles the lotus flower, which is commonly associated with yoga stuff. I love how the green looks on the purple background--so cute!
I am a little concerned that the upside-down tulip looks like a ghost. I will probably just do right-side-up tulips when someone actually wins a batch of these cookies.
I think the stick figure cookies have a retro, 80's work-out videotape type feel. Especially the pink ones. But don't get me wrong, I still like them.
Namaste readers :)

Baby girl cookies
I have two cousins on my mother's side who got married last summer. Because I am in medical school, I wasn't able to attend either wedding... So sad!
Well, as it turns out, they each got pregnant shortly after their weddings. They both had girls! I thought it only appropriate to do a tribute on my blog to my new second cousins ;)
Welcome to the world, babies!

St. Patrick's Day
My mother ordered some St. Patrick's cookies... Since this will be a project that I can personally deliver (rather than ship), I thought I would try my hand at cookies-on-a-stick.
The cookie bag looks so cute! I used florist's foam in the bottom of the gift bag, then put the cookie sticks in the foam. Then, I added yellow easter grass to the bag to fill it up. I put extra cookies (not on sticks) on top of the grass. Last, I put tissue paper in the background (into the bag) to make it look like a present. Looks adorable, if you ask me ;)
